At the end of the year, we traditionally organised an in-house offline event for Qiwi with 300 attendees to coincide with the Halloween celebrations.
In 2020, due to restrictions on mass events, the request changed and we were challenged to implement a hybrid format — an offline activity for 30 participants, broadcast online for over 200 people.
We implemented it in the Amedia Group's cinema pavilion. For 1.5 hours, 6 teams of 5 people, randomly selected from all participants the day before, went through the scary tests in a talk show format in the Room of Fear. It all culminated in the final competition, where the teams came together, survived the real-life Arena of Death and found out that all fears live only in their minds.
Those unable to participate offline were able to watch their colleagues compete in a reality show format.
